Cinisello apartment

This family apartment is located in the north of Milan in the residential neighborhood of Cinisello Balsamo. The project involved the complete renovation of the interior to provide a more contemporary layout. Spatially the new plan accommodated the priavte programme along the apartment’s northern and eastern boundaries. The remaining space was dedicated to social spaces. The circulation space at the heart of the former layout has been converted to provide a small “nucleo,” a flexible, light space designed for reading and work. This space can also be fully opened towards the living areas to provide extra area when necessary.
